Jade University of Applied Sciences

Jade University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2009, is a public university with locations in Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, and Elsfleth, Lower Saxony. It breaks down into six departments: the Department of Engineering, the Department of Management, Information, Technology, the Department of Business Administration and Management, the Department of Architecture, the Department of Civil Engineering, Geoinformation and Health Technology, as well as the Department of Maritime and Logistics Studies. Jade University currently has a total of round about 7,600 students enrolled in 37 Bachelor and 11 Master courses. In additon to full-time studies, the range of studies also comprises some dual study courses and online study courses. The scope of online courses includes the study courses “International Maritime Management“ (M.Sc.), “Business Administration“ (B.A./M.A.), “Regenerative Technologies“ (B.Eng.), “Tourism Management“ (B.A.), as well as “Industrial Engineering“ (B.Eng.). Depending on the respective program, graduates of Jade University of Applied Sciences obtain a B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.A., M.Sc., or M.Eng. degree. Prospective students with vocational qualifications also have the opportunity to enrol in a study program without a higher secondary school-leaving certificate.
