Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is a public institution of higher education seated in Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. It has another location in Mönchengladbach. The University breaks down into ten faculties: the Faculty of Chemistry, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering, the Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Hospital Sciences, the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, and the Faculty of Health Care. Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences provides round about 14,650 students with an academic education based on some 60 Bachelor and 20 Master programs. In addition to full-time and part-time degree courses, the University offers 19 dual and four continuative study courses. The latter include the Master courses “Social Management“, “Personnel Management and Industrial Law“, “Management“, and “Business Law“. Added to this are advanced training courses, and certificate courses on the following topic areas: Efficiency in Development and Production, Information Technology, Management, as well as Health Care and Social Affairs. The following degrees can be obtained at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences: B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.A., M.Sc., and M.Eng.
