I have excellent grades this semester. Will I get a scholarship?

Marija L.: Good afternoon, forum! I have the following question: I’ve been working really hard at university this semester and I think I will have almost perfect grades. Since I’m an international student (from Croatia), I don’t know if it’s possible for me to receive a scholarship. I know that in my home country there is such program, but I’m not sure where to look in Germany. I would really appreciate your help, because I don’t want to wait too long and miss the application deadlines. Thank you in advance!

Hi Marija! I’m not usre if there are such scholarships for uni students in Germany. Last year I got excellent grades too and I searched but didnt find anything :((

I think there are some scholarships but tyhey are only for exceptional students who show incredivle achievements and dedication as well as extra work and volunteering and so on.

One of my friends receives The Deutschlandstipendium but I’m not sure how he got it and what achievements they require. You can search it online I think.
