Musicals: love them or hate them?

Hii :) I love musicals, but none of my friends do. I really want to talk about them with someone, so I hope we can do that here. My favorites are “Chicago” and “Moulin Rouge”, but I often watch others. I also love going to see them live. The last one I watched was “Lion King” and it was amazing! I totally understand why it’s so hyped. If you can, go see it!! Now its your turn! What was the last musical you watched? Did you like it? And what’s your favorite one?

I love musicals too! The absolute best in my opinion is Mamma Mia. Iv’e seen it so many times and it never gets boring. I also love Chicago, but Mamma Mia is just the best. Have you seen the second one? It’s pretty good too, but just not as good as the first one. But I’ve never seen a musical live. I wanna change that!!

Fellow musical lover here! Do you know what started my love for musicals? Glee, the TV show. I was a teenager when I started watching it and I hadn’t watched any musicals before that. When they sang songs from Funny Girl and Wicked, I started to look them up and fell inlove. Have you seen Wicked? Theres a reason why its so famous!

I have to admit I don’t like every musical, but when something is good, I have to give it credit. The one that impressed me the most was Les Mis. The story is a classic, but it’s so beautifully done with the songs and the way it unfolds. I went to see it live a long time ago and I’ve also watched the movie with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway – it’s amazing! Speaking of Hugh jackman, I highly recommend The Greatest Showman. The songs from it are all very good and the sotry is pleasant to watch, especially because it’s based on true events.

I love all of the ones you mentioned! Can I just add another favorite: Sweeney Todd! It’s so unusual and interesting, especially when you watch it around Halloween. There should be a list of musicals to watch for Halloween: Sweeney Todd, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Nightmare Before Christmas… any other suggestions?
