Do you take any supplements?

Hi, forum. I think this is the right place for this topic. I was wondering if you take any dietary supplements and which ones? I’m a vegetarian and my friends said that I need to take B12 tablets, but I’ve never taken anything before. Is it healthy and what would you recommend?

I don’t take any supplements other than protein. I drink a protein shake once a day. If your vegetarian I think you should too because you probavly eat less protein anyway.

Hey, vegetarian doesn’t mean less protein. You know chickpeas, beans and soy are actually high in protein. I recommend B12 though because even if you eat lots of fish it is likely that you don’t get enough. Vitamin C is always good too but you can get it from citrus fruits – I like to squeeze oranges and lemons to make fresh juice at home.

Hi there :)))) I take magnesium. It’s really good if you work out, but it also helps the nervous system.

Depending on where you live you may also need vitamin D tablets. If you don’t get a lot of sun naturally, it is good to take some.

You know what my advise is? Go to test your vitamin levels. You just need to have some blood drawn and from the results you will see what you need.
