Workouts at home: what actually works?

We’re all stuck in quarantine right now and I really miss the gym! I wanna work out at home more, but it’s not the same. I’m not as active lately and I don’t like that. I tried some workouts from Instagram, but got bored. Do you think I shpuld buy some equipment? If you have some workouts that work for you, can you please share them? I wanna try something different and stay active.

I know the struggle! I used to go to the gym 5 tims a week, but now everything is closed. I bought weights to lift at home, but it’s just not the same. I try to avoid cardio, because I want to build muscle mass and not lose weight, but to stay active at home there aren’t many options. I do simple exercises like pushups, planks and so on and sometimes I go to the park for a jog when I got too bored inside. But I wanna see if anyone has recommendations for good workouts.

It’s definitely more difficult to work out now especially because I have less motivation than before. What I do is find different workouts on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. On YouTube I usually search for zumba, pilates or yoga workouts and so I don’t get bored a lot. You can do a different type of workout every day of the week with so many different videos. And on Instagram it’s easy - you just follow some fitness bloggers and you can copy their routine. I think so many people are posting at-home workout ideas right now!

SAME HERE! If anyone likes running and jogging I have a great gadget for that. I got a smart fitness tracker from Chic and it helps a lot to stay motivated. It’s easy to track steps, workouts and the calories you burn. That’s my secret to staying motivated even in quarantine.
