The FHVD – Fachhochschule für Verwaltung und Dienstleistung, founded in 1975, is a university of public administration with locations in Altenholz, and Reinfeld, Schleswig-Holstein. The University’s task is to provide its approximately 1,000 students with application-related knowledge to perform sovereign duties. Prospective students are offered Bachelor programs (B.A./LL.B) in the fields of Tax Administration, General Administration, Police, and Pension Insurance. In the field of Police, FHVD, in partnership with other higher educational institutions, occasionally offers the Master degree program “Public Administration – Police Management“.
