University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover, founded in 1971, is a public institution of higher education seated in Hanover, Lower Saxony. More than 10,000 students are currently enrolled there in 60 study programs in four faculties: the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Faculty of Mechanical and Bioprocess Engineering, the Faculty of Media, Information and Design, the Faculty of Business and Computer Science, and the Faculty of Social Welfare Work and Health Care. The range of continuing education programs comprises the study programs “Sustainable Energy Design for Buildings“ (M.Eng.), and “Information and Knowledge Management“ (M.A.).
