The Diploma University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1998, is a private state-recognized university headquartered in Bad Sooden-Allendorf. It currently accommodates over 7,000 students. The university breaks down into five departments: the Department of Business, the Department of Law, the Department of Health and Social Affairs, the Department of Design, and the Department of Engineering.
