Bad Liebenzell is a small and charming city located in the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. In fact, a single trip to Strasbourg or Stuttgart takes only half an hour by train. Karlsruhe and Freiburg are also very close and can be easily visited. STUDYING IN BAD LIEBENZELL

Bad Liebenzell is a cozy place which is also ideal for all those who would love to live in a relaxing atmosphere where everything is located in a walking distance while still having the opportunity to visit so many places easily from there. The local International Hochschule Bad Liebenzell, founded in 2011, is currently home to over 200 students from all around the world. The university offers several Bachelor and Master’s degree programs students can choose from, including Theology, Protestant Theology, Integrative Consulting, and others. The main language of instruction at the higher education institution is German, meaning that all degree courses offered there are taught entirely in German. However, the university organizes every year the so-called September School, which is designed only for internationals. The program is aimed at strengthening the relationship of the university with the partnership universities, allowing students from different countries to spend a whole month studying at the International Hochschule Bad Liebenzell. The whole program takes place through the whole month of September and is taught entirely in English. Choosing a university and the right degree course is important for each future student. So is finding a good and affordable student accommodation. However, sometimes it is not easy to find the balance between quality and price when it comes to student accommodation. In the city of Bad Liebenzell, students can choose between living in the student dormitories and finding themselves private accommodation. There are four student residences in the city which can accommodate about 140 students. Students can expect to pay between 190 and 220 EUR per month for rent. However, students are advised to apply as early as possible if they want to live in the dormitories because places are limited. The rest of the students can still rent single bedrooms in shared apartments or even find a studio/one-bedroom apartment to rent just for themselves. Single bedrooms in shared flats come at the price of 200 to 260 EUR per month with all the bills included. Prices still vary depending on the location and the size of the flat. Studios and one-bedroom flats are more expensive – between 380 and 500 EUR per month with all bills included.

Bad Liebenzell is a small town that provides a very pleasant atmosphere for its inhabitants. However, there are many places to be seen and things to be done during one’s spare time in the city. Whenever students need a break from all the lectures and exams in order to relax, the best place will probably be the Paracelsus-Therme Bad Liebenzell. The place is an amazingly cute spa which is hidden somewhere in the big Black Forest. Spa, swimming, water gymnastics and many other activities are all possible in the Paracelsus-Therme Bad Liebenzell. It can be the perfect getaway during the cold winter days. Kurpark is also another spot in the city, where inhabitants can rest while being surrounded by beautiful gardens and many different trails where one of the paths even leads to the Paracelsus-Therme. The park has so many fountains and even a mini-golf area suitable for both children and grown-ups.
