Ludwigshafen is a city in Germany that lies on the river Rhine and is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate federal state. The closest airport near Ludwigshafen is the Mannheim City Airport, based only six kilometers away. However, this airport is quite small and most of the people living in Ludwigshafen prefer to use the Frankfurt am Main Airport which is eighty kilometers away.
