In apartments close to the city center, single rooms cost between 190 and 350 EUR per month with all the bills included. MAGDEBURG LIFESTYLE
It is a fact that Magdeburg offers an excellent higher education to students but that is not all. Magdeburg is the second-greenest city in Germany, which in spring looks absolutely stunning. Even a simple walk in the park brings a big refreshment. The city has an amazing and relaxing atmosphere, and is full of historic buildings. Definitely worth vistiing is the beautiful and impressive Magdeburg Cathedral. The cathedral’s building process started in 1207 and continued for almost 300 years. Moreover, it is considered the city’s symbol and is pretty famous among all the tourists visiting the city of Magdeburg. Another great thing about the city is that always looks alive, even in the evening. There are so many bars and clubs students would love to visit in the town. The CoCo bar, for example, is full with both domestic and foreign students from Thursday through Saturday every week. It is the place where the best cocktails in town are made, and the prices are absolutely fair. The M2 Café & Bar Magdeburg is another spot where the staff is friendly, the beer is good, and the atmosphere is really nice.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN MAGDEBURG

There are many opportunities for students to find part-time jobs during their studies. Working fifteen to twenty hours a week allows them to focus on their degree and still make some money. However, after graduation, most students relocate to bigger cities such as Berlin and Leipzig, for example, to look for career opportunities there.
