STUDYING IN OBERURSEL

Oberursel is home to the Lutheran Theological College (LThH) a state-recognized church university established in 1948. Nowadays the College offers study programs in Protestant Theology with ecclesiastical examination or with a following Master’s degree in Theology. The studies also focus on the following five classical disciplines: Old and New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology. Students will also have the chance of learning ancient languages, choosing from Hebrew, Latin and Greek. What makes this university an ideal place to study is its modern and attractive campus, experienced teaching staff, and intensive studying. International students will find the campus very helpful as it has two dormitories right on site. The first dormitory offers furnished mini apartments with a private bathroom and a single kitchen. The monthly rent depends on the size of the room, varying between 210 EUR and 290 EUR. Dormitory number two offers unfurnished apartments that are bigger in size compared to the ones in the first dormitory with a price of 426 EUR to 446 EUR. In order to apply for either dormitory, students must fill in an application form provided on the website of the College. Alternatively, students can also search for accommodation on the private housing market.
