The ‘’City in the Valley’’ lies in the Wupper valley in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. With a population of over 350,000 people Wuppertal is the largest city in the region, famous for its unique scenery of steep slopes and small mountains and linear shape – the only one in Germany.
