The “Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design” program at Academy of Fine Arts Munich teaches the basics of design methodology, graphic and artistic representation, the history of architecture and design, color theory as well as construction technology and building law. With a length of 3 years, the program involves in-depth theory and intensive practical training. Applicants are required to submit a folder with work samples along with the usual information on person and career, which if approved, qualifies them for an entry exam. Graduates are able to either pursue a Master’s degree or directly enter the job market in the field of interior design.
