The “State-certified translator English” course is provided by AKAD University. This course is an online program with a duration of 24 months. The students will need 54 ECTS credit points overall in order to finalise it. The main purpose of this certified program is to develop the academic abilities of the students in connection with English language, its grammar, vocabulary and writing. At the end of the course, the students will need to undertake the state translation examination, which is provided by the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators. After successful completion of this course, the participants will receive the English translator state degree. Furthermore, the students will be highly qualified to work across education, international organisations, government departments and many others. The admission for this program is restricted.
