The Akkon University for Human Sciences in Berlin extends an offer for the “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” course, which is designed for six full-time semesters of 180 credit points, and an option for additional 25 ECTS by completing any of the specialization courses in stock: Extremism and Radicalization Prevention, Migration and Intergration, Managament and Team Development, Pegagogy and Youth Welfare, and Psychosocial Counseling. The degree provides the state-recognized professional qualification of a social worker. Graduates can expect professional realization in educational institutions, social services, institutions for child, youth and elderly care, NGOs, public administration offices. Sociology, psychology, research methodology, action methods, ethical foundations of the counseling or interventions processes will be discussed in the modules. Collaborative learning formats in interdisciplinary case and project work are the teaching methods, which attract students with their dynamics and practicality.
