The University’s study focus is on social work, education and training, as well as health. The scope of studies offered by the educational institution, where round about 3,000 students are enrolled, ranges from five undergraduate, partly extra-occupational Bachelor programs (“Early Childhood Education“, “Healthcare and Nursing Management“, “Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy“, “Social Work“, “Social Work Online“ (for employed students)), three consecutive Master programs (“Management and Quality Development in the Health Sector“, “Practical Research in Social Work and Early Education“, “Public Health“), as well as various (partly English-language) continuing education Master programs (e. g., “Biografic and Creative Writing“, “Intercultural Conflict Management“, “Clinical Social Work“, “Social Management“). Prospective students with refugee experience are provided with the opportunity of taking part in the free two-semester ASH Pre-Study Program, the purpose of which is to prepare the relevant group of persons to apply for a regular study program at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin or other higher education institutions in Germany.
