The Allensbach University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1996, is a state-recognized university seated in Constance, Baden-Wuerttemberg. Formerly “WHL Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr“, Allensbach has been in private sponsorship of the European Education Group Deutschland GmbH since 2015. It offers some 270 students distance learning courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the fields of Business, Management, as well as Economics and Pedagogics. The Bachelor studies are also offered as dual courses of study, providing students with the opportunity to study while working. Another component of the range of studies offered by Allensbach University of Applied Sciences is MBA programs for students without a first degree. Prerequisite to participate in a MBA program is the completion of the four-semester university certificate “Betriebswirt Allensbach University“. In partnership with various European universities, graduates of Allensbach University of Applied Sciences are also offered the possibility to take part in (in some cases extra-occupational) doctoral programs. Together with the London School of Economics and Political Science, Allensbach University of Applied Sciences offers a summer school program featuring a range of more than 70 three-week courses in the fields of Economics, Business and Management, Accounting, Law, Finance, and International Relations.
