The Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, founded as recently as in 1996, is a public university seated in Ansbach, Bavaria. It provides education to round about 3,000 students through 14 Bachelor degree programs and four consecutive Master degree programs in two faculties: the Faculty of Business and General Sciences, and the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. Also part of the scope of studies are dual vocational studies, as well as continuing education (partially extra-occupational) courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Among the continuing education Bachelor’s studies are the folllowing study courses: “Value Creation Management“ (B.A.), “Applied Polymer Technology“ (B.Eng.), and Strategic Management“ (B.A.). At Master’s level, the scope of continuing education offerings is limited to the two-year study course “Creative Management“ (MBA). Continuing education programs are also offered in the form of fee-based extra-occupational training courses, which under certain conditions are open to people without first degree status as well. They include training courses on Leadership in Healthcare, Occupational Pension, Big Data Analytics, and Sales Expertise.
