The “Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Music Education“ program at Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria has a length of 8 full-time semesters. The course aims to prepare students for various pedagogical actions in different areas of music. The curriculum encourages group dynamic improvisation and design processes through a combination of theoretical lectures and practical exercises. The prerequisite for application is the successful completion of an entrance exam which includes a theoretical and artistic part that tests the abilities of the candidates. Graduates are able to work in numerous artistic-pedagogical areas, including music schools, in areas of integrative and inclusive pedagogy, in adult education and in concert pedagogy.
