The “Master of Arts in Elementary Music Education” program at Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria is offered every two years. Over the course of 4 semesters, students are given in-depth knowledge and practical experience needed to musically educate people. Subjects like Artistic performance combining music-movement-voice, Improvisation and design, and Artistic and artistic-educational processes are on focus in the course curriculum. In addition to a completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, candidates are required to pass an entrance exam. Graduates are able to work in numerous artistic-pedagogical areas, including music schools, in areas of integrative and inclusive pedagogy, in adult education and in concert pedagogy.
