The “Master of Arts in Instrumental Pedagogy - Recorder” program at Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria has a length of 4 semesters. Drawing on their previous experience with the instrument, the course gives students a teaching qualification. Students are taught the most important aspects of playing the instrument - attitude, breathing, articulation and fingering, and how to convey them to others. Upon application candidates must present a Bachelor’s degree from a relevant field and pass an aptitude test. Graduates are able to work in private music education, music schools, conservatories and higher schools, among others.
