The “Master of Arts in Instrumental Studies Piano – Chamber Music” program at Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria aims to give students qualified professional training and in-depth knowledge about the form of classical music that is composed for a small group of instruments. Over the course of 4 semesters, the curriculum ranges from artistic-scientific theoretical subjects to practical exercises and performance on stage. As part of the admission requirements, candidates must present a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and the pass an entrance test. Having gained a qualification as an instrumentalist, graduates are able to work as a member of an original sound ensemble or freelance.
