The “Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Studies Violoncello - Jazz” program at Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria is targeted towards students with outstanding musical abilities with the string instrument, intending to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the field of jazz music. Over the course of 8 full-time semesters, the course curriculum ranges from artistic-scientific theoretical subjects, to practice and performance. The completion of a two-stage entrance exam is a prerequisite for admission. Graduates are able to work as a member of an original sound ensemble or freelance.
