The Apollon University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2005, is a state-recognized university seated in Bremen that is privately sponsored by the APOLLON Hochschule der Gesundheitswirtschaft GmbH. The University provides some 3,500 students with eleven extra-occupational correspondence courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Health Economics, Health Psychology, Nursing Management, Health Tourism, Prevention and Health Promotion, and Health Technology. Added to this are more than 40 certificate courses in Health and Prevention, Nursing and Medicine; Management, Business and Technology; Psychology, Communication and Personality, as well as Social and Health Economics. In partnership with the University of Gloucestershire and the Institute of University Cooperation and International Doctoral Programs (IHP), Apollon University of Applied Sciences offers doctoral programs at the international level as well. The educational portfolio is aimed at working adults, including people without university entrance qualification. Depending on the respective program, graduates of the Apollon University of Applied Sciences receive a B.A., B. Sc., M.A., MaHM (Master of Health Management), or MaHE (Master of Health Economics).
