The Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is a public university for business design, engineering and computer science seated in Augsburg, Bavaria. With round about 6,000 students and seven faculties, it is one of the largest Bavarian universities of applied sciences. Prospective students can choose from a range of studies consisting of 18 Bachelor degree programs, 20 Master degree programs, and eleven certificate programs. Also included in the scope of studies are eleven dual programs (“Civil Engineering“, “Business Administration“, “Electrical Engineering“, “Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Business Informatics“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Mechatronics“, “International Business Engineering“, “Systems Engineering“, “Environment and Process Engineering“, as well as one extra-occupational program (“Business Engineering“); among the Master degree studies are two extra-occupational programs (“Project Management [Construction and Real Estate/Facade/Finishing]“, “Technology Management“). Elective subjects in the fields of humanities and natural sciences as well as basic subjects in engineering degree programs are managed at the faculty of liberal arts and sciences.
