The “Master of Fine Arts in Art in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies” is a German-taught program at Bauhaus University Weimar with a duration of 4 semesters. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Art, Architecture and History, Art, Society and Public Space, Situation, Intervention and New Artistic Strategies, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and align their education to their interests. The MFA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to work in different socio-cultural institutions.
