The Diploma program “Fine Art” at Bauhaus Universität Weimar is a 9-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Video, Media Art, New Media, Performance, Photography, New Artistic Strategies, Curating, Basics of the Art Business, and much more. Additionally, students can take up elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain practical relevance and industry-specific skills. The program also promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, project management, communication and organisation, moderation, and more. Upon completion of the course, graduates are qualified to work as freelancers or in socio-cultural institutions.
