The “Bachelor of Arts in Media Culture” at Bauhaus University Weimar is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Image Theory, European Media Culture, History and Theory of Cultural Techniques, Organization and Networked Media, Marketing and Media, Media Management, Media Economics, Media Philosophy, Media Sociology, etc. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The BA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified for work in cultural management, public relations, editing in radio, print, television, film production, distribution, and funding, etc. Also, graduates can opt for a later Master’s degree.
