The “Master of Arts in Product Design” at Bauhaus University Weimar is a 2-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at Bauhaus University. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Product Design, Interaction Design, Design and Management, Mobility, Product and the Environment, Scenic Design, and Exhibition Design. Also, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their education. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to assume managerial positions as designers.
