The “Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning” at Bauhaus University Weimar is an 8-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Spatial Research, Monument Preservation and Building History, Social-Scientific Urban Research, Architecture and Urban Development, and more. Also, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experience and key competencies. The BSc also offers participants the opportunity to carry out internships and deepen their knowledge. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to work in planning offices, private companies, social organizations and political consulting. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
