Description
The Bavarian School of Public Policy at the Technical University of Munich provides the degree course “Bachelor of Science in Political Science” with a duration of six full-time semesters, or nine, if taken part-time. The characteristics of the program are the interdisciplinary and scientifically-bound curriculum, the international orientation of the studies, which requires the use of the English language, and the integration of a three-month long internship period. Entering the degree course is subject to an aptitude test. After initial knowledge on political theory, international relations, political systems and social research, more advanced preparation is scheduled for the later semesters. Economics and law, as well as key competences are also represented in the curriculum. The feature distinguishing the studies most, is the broader scope of interdisciplinary subjects from the technology domain – Big Data, Energy, Mobility, Environment, Industrial Systems, Mathematics, and Statistics. A bachelor’s thesis is planned for the end of the course.
