Bern University of Teacher Education, founded in 2005, is a public university seated in Bern. Accomodating almost 2,500 students, it is one of the largest teacher education universities in Switzerland. Students of Bern University of Teacher Education are trained as teachers at pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher secondary level, as well as remedial teachers.
