Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin, founded in 1823, is a public university seated in Berlin with a focus on engineering. More than 12,000 students are enrolled in round about 70 Bachelor and Master degree programs. The University breaks down in eight faculties: Economics and Social studies; Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry; Civil Engineering and Geo Information; Architecture and Building Services Engineering; Life Sciences and Technology; Computer Science and Media; Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics; Optometry; as well as Mechanical Engineering/Event Technology/Process Engineering. Each faculty includes three to nine study programs. In addition to full-time programs, Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berin also offers two vocational education programs, seven continuing education distance learning programs, and another seven certificate courses. Last but not least, the Beuth University is the only university of applied sciences in Germany to provide the opportunity to study “Theatre and Event Technology“.
