The program “Bachelor of Arts in Brand Design: Communication Design”, offered by Brand University of Applied Sciences, is for individuals interested in design, illustration and photography. Students familiarize themselves with all the essential elements that successful design and communication depend upon. Not only do they acquire conventional graphic design training, they are also provided with expertise in brand development and communication research. The course of studies encourages engagement with visual communication including the analysis of brand strategy as well as the development of concepts and designs, and production and documentation in the form of design guidelines. The multimedia design disciplines that the program consists of deepen students’ design skills. Students gain practical experience by cooperating with renowned agencies and brand companies. Studies include web design, creative coding, design thinking, motion design and film, among other things. Graduates are not only qualified to become visual designers but also storytellers, strategists, visionaries and inventors. They are able to work on complex projects as junior designers, junior concept developers, or freelancers.
