Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1992, is a public university seated in Brandenburg an der Havel. It has round about 2,600 students enrolled in 21 Bachelor and Master programs. The University is organized into three faculties: the Faculty of Computer Science and Digital Media, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Business and Economics. Depending on the respective study program, the following degrees can be obtained: B.Eng., B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Eng. In addition to conventional full-time study programs, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences also offers the exra-occupational online and correspondence courses “Media Informatics“, “Technology and Innovation Management“ and “Business Administration“ (extra-occupational), eight dual study programs in Computer Science and Media, Technology, and Business and Economics, as well as continuative certificate courses relating to Business Administration, and tailored continuing education programs. Under certain conditions, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences provides study opportunities to individuals without higher education entrance qualification: People with vocational qualifications and without any first-degree status who have passed the entrance examination are granted access to the continuative study program “Security Management for Master craftsmen“.
