The “Bachelor in JRP: Acoustic Guitar (Artistic)” is with a total length of eight semesters and provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Dresden. During the program participants are able to obtain the basics of conducting such as percussion figures, harmony of breathing and movement as well as different upbeats and translation of musical parameters into conducting impulses. In addition, basic aspects of rehearsal methodology are taught with an in-depth score work taking into account the artistic and music-historical context where students learn also to interpret simple musical works in a conducting manner and to translate their conception of sound into conducting movement. The course imparts initial methodological knowledge and teaches to develop musical works independently from a conducting point of view.
