The “Master of Music in Ballet Accompaniment” is a four-semester study course provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. During the bachelor, the participants develop the conducting technique while also forming an interpretation and performance practice in the additional modules for new and old music, piano, accompaniment, score and sight reading. The course provides both comprehensive artistic and methodical training supplemented by numerous practical project work and specifically involves the students in the work of singers and instrumentalists while providing one-to-one tuition to deepen the conducting skills. Furthermore, the focus primarily falls on work with the opera class, development of coaching in cooperation with the Palucca University of Dance. The course also offers free choice from the scientific and musical seminars.
