Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the program “Master of Music in Choir Singing” is with a duration of four semesters. Participants deepen the knowledge and objectives primarily within the framework of practice-oriented projects. Furthermore, students develop a distinctive stage presence and personality while building on literary and musical knowledge. Participants are able to present the individual interpretations of the acquired concert and song repertoire in an artistically independent form on the concert podium. In addition, students can apply their acquired skills in musical areas beyond the repertoire of lied, concert and oratorio repertoire. In addition, they expand the content-related creative skills and develop competencies, especially in the dramaturgical skills, especially in the design of song programs while deepening and optimize their singing profile and expand their artistic competence for the demands of practice.
