With a duration of eight semesters the “Bachelor of Music in Clarinet (Artistic)” is provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. Students become familiar with the necessary methods and ways of working in order to progressively expand their technical and musical skills and abilities while learning the basic mistakes in posture, breathing, embouchure and body tension. The degree course teaches the important analytical methods, as well as how to deal with musical texts and audio samples from an analytical perspective including to present diverse music and styles in differentiation from typology.
