The eight-semester degree program “Bachelor of Music in Clarinet (Music Pedagogy)” is provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. During the course, the participants receive a broad overview of the literature of their instrument and can assess its suitability under didactic and methodological aspects with regard to different performance and age levels. The instrumental basics and playing processes are methodically analyzed under instrument-typical anatomical, acoustic and movement-physiological criteria while the students deepen their experience in orchestra work and become able to rehearsal work in the orchestra in a disciplined manner.
