The four-semester degree program “Master of Music in JRP Drumset” is offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. The program explores the development of modern drumming in popular music from its beginnings to the present and forms a solid comprehension of forms of music from all over the world along with the current trends in pop music. The course also includes regular workshops by international guest lecturers supplemented by offers such as performance, various ensembles as well as musical projects and prepares students individually for a professional life as musicians or instrumental teachers, depending on their strengths and musical background.
