The degree program “Master of Music in JRP E-Guitar” is offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden with a total length of four semesters. By creating a comprehensive artistic and educational training for an all-round musician on the instrument, graduates of the course obtain various playing techniques, sight reading, comping, transcriptions, a sense of style and repertoire play. Special attention is paid to the repertoire, the basic technique, rhythm and style as well as the application of special exercise concepts and methods while the program deepens and expands the basic knowledge already acquired in relation to fingerboard visualization, auditory playing, playing technique and rhythm. During their study, students also focus on deepening the solo transcriptions, compositions, creating solo arrangements, developing your own sound aesthetics and improvising skills based on various concepts.
