Provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Dresden the degree program “Bachelor of Music in Flute” is with duration of eight semesters. The course provides regular coaching, one-to-one tuition, audition training and professional preparation for auditions. The students have the opportunity to participate in the university orchestra and chamber ensembles while taking lessons in music theory, ear training, musicology as well as methodology. During the degree, students attend seminars based on musician psychology as well as fundamental psychological basic of making music and obtain knowledge of general music theory such as triads, chords, intervals, keys and more.
