Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the degree program “Bachelor of Music in Flute (Music Pedagogy)” is with total length of eight semesters. The degree course includes specialization modules in Vocal ensemble direction, instrumental ensemble direction, elementary music theory, rhythmics and elementary music education. The major subject lesson of the degree program is focused on the general instrumental didactics and methodology with included teaching practice and observation phases of music school internship as well as provided regular workshops, practicing, music theory, musicology and ear training, participation in the university orchestra, university choir and other ensembles.
