Description
Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden, the “Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Pedagogy Orchestra and Recorder” is a study program with a duration of eight semesters. Throughout their study, students expand their musical-technical competencies and learn all the stylistics relevant to their instrument using relevant literature. Participants are able to deepen the methods for independent development of artistic interpretation and obtain a secure instrumental technique while increasing their confident podium behavior that corresponds to their personality. The program enables graduates to also gain systematic insights into the conditions and possibilities of chamber music on the basis of previous experience while building under professional direction their basic musical skills in all areas, especially intonation, articulation (legato qualities), aesthetic expression, as well as their own body perception.
