The master degree study course “Master of Music in Instrumental Correpetition / Piano Chamber Music” is with a total length of four semesters provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. Its aim is to further develop the already acquired skills of working on the piano, especially piano chamber music and accompanying tasks. Throughout their study, participants become able to perform the orchestral part of solo concerts and learn how to be an active chamber music partner while the program trains the interpretation as well as the rehearsal of difficult chamber music works and the accompaniment of demanding solo concerts. The master degree also trains the communicative and verbal skills and provides with the comprehension to apply appropriate stylistic and performance artistic accent.
