The four-semester program “Master of Music in JRP Hammond Organ” is offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. The program provides ensemble lessons in classical organ trio where the focus falls on the developing blues, jazz standards and original classical compositions, harmonious and rhythmic aspects of the interaction between Hammond and guitar as well as learning various special organic grooves such as the boogaloo, shuffle and slow blues. Students become familiar with the history of the Hammond B-3 in jazz, rock and pop and form a master musical understanding while listening and analyzing important style-forming musicians.
