With a total length of eight semesters the program “Bachelor of Music in JRP: Piano” is provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. The bachelor degree focuses towards the learning of II-IV-I - connections, turnarounds, blues and rhythm changes in all keys different standards and provides self-made transcriptions by style-shaping pianists, combination of jazz and Latin piano playing along with teaching the playing technique of style-defining electric pianos of jazz, rock, pop history (Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer E-Piano, Hohner Clavinet). The course aims to develop important solo piano techniques such as stride piano, walking bass and more while teaching different playing techniques and types of play.
